  • Is my PC broken?

Watch this short clip. I just got the thing recently and tried it out for the first time last night, but this looks broke to me.

      Ditto.
A common mistake that people make when trying to design something completely foolproof is to underestimate the ingenuity of complete fools.

Is there any other way to upload or link a very short video other than youtube? I think the whole file is only 8kb. Its very small.

                    Re: Is my PC broken?

No, it hasnt been dropped, I did use a standard wrench to remove the backing plate since I didnt have the thin wrench that comes with it. Im guessing this put too much stress on something in there and it has come to this.

                    Thanks for the reply's fellas.

                      Re: Is my PC broken?

Probably used a a kijillion of these things to date and never seen with a loose drive unit like this? Without the factory spanner wrench it's really tough to get into where the shaft is to hold it tight while removing or tightening on a backing plate. Not sure what would have caused this but it's important to find a secure place to keep your spanner wrench so you always have it when you need it.

                      Is that a Meguiar's G100 or a normal PC?

                        Re: Is my PC broken?

Its a normal PC, bought off ebay, it was factory reconditioned, thought I was getting a deal, but havent been able to use it yet, Im suspecting that this may have been the cause of why my PC and #80 on 8006 pad is not working as well as I had thought it would.

Anyway, I contacted the vendor I purchased it from to inquire about having it repaired/replaced. Hopefully he will have some good news.

                        Thanks for the replies fellas.
