If the interior is really dusty, like the dashboard.. if it's got tons of **** on it do you wipe it down first with a clean MF to knock off most of the loose stuff or do you immediately use a product like APC sprayed onto a MF?

Re: If it's really dusty..
I always used my vac and put the brush attachment on to get as much dust/dirt as possible.
Sometimes use compressed air along with the vac around edges and hard to reach places before applying a protectant with my micro-fiber.''USE THE LEAST AGGRESSIVE PRODUCT TO GET THE JOB DONE RIGHT''

The way I look at it is, I wouldn't just spray the #40 over a bunch of dust/grim on my dash (like Lelandgray posted about asking what we do? When it's really dusty and has tons of **** on it)or any other and then use a micro-fiber to rub it in or around the surface, to me it just doesn't make sense so thats just my way of doing things!''USE THE LEAST AGGRESSIVE PRODUCT TO GET THE JOB DONE RIGHT''

Re: If it's really dusty..
I like to use the MF towel dry on the dash first - whether it's very dirty or just for maintenance. It helps to get the dust to stick to the MF towel before getting the dash wet with any product. When I wash them in the washing machine, they come out good as new!-----
