Re: Just Started Detailing! Quiting my job!

I'm 17. This would be my 4th business. I used to deal coins, deal airsoft ammo to a team of 70, be an airtech, and now this. So I do have some experience with running books and everything. The support is much appreciated guys.

This is my newly bought website. It looks like rubbish right now but I've hired a guy to create a background and a logo and everything of that sort.

Good luck Max,You do need to think if weather is a factor where you live.I live in Tennessee and in the winter or the rainy months of the year I hardly get any calls.I am a mobile detailer and make about $15,000.00 to $20,000.00 a year detailing part-time.I work a full-time job at night and detail about four to five hours a day ,four days a week.I would love to be my own boss, but its hard give up a $45,000.00 a year job with insurance and good retirement. Gotta finish my boy's truck soon and do a writeup!

Re: Just Started Detailing! Quiting my job!

So this is my business username. Since starting a couple weeks ago, I've made $360. $300 for a boat and a Dodge Charger and $60 in tips for a free CRV detail.

My problem right now is getting new customers. I'll go around my neighborhood today handing out my cards and talking to people. Hopefully that'll stir up some interest

I'm not sure if quitting is wise step what happens when people clam up..?
You'll be begging for your job back, why not just keep what you have and do detailing on weekends..?

Looks like a good start on the website. Just make sure to use proper grammar and spelling so you don't deter potential customers (like me) who discounts a business who cannot use simple words like that .

"It's not about where you're going; it's about how many heads you turn along the way."
A very applicable quote --I like it!

Best of luck with the customer flow. Always have a backup plan for anything, in case things become too rough .

Thanks I fixed that. I also added a video of the CRV. Can you guys give me as many suggestions as possible?
