            Re: My business name

Here is a suggestion that combines old school and hip-hop:

            classiX shine

You could play around with the capital X in the logo - 5 letters on each side, Big script, different font, color etc.

Also, you could add a tag - "X marks the spot!".

            We can talk royalties later.

              Re: My business name

So after thinking about it a little more, I don't really like the name. Joe's right, there are a lotta 'shine' detailers (as well as reflection, image, etc). I'd like to avoid that. Anyways, heres one I came up...

              New Level Detailing

Tag line could be "We'll take your car to a whole new level!"

              Or alternatively theres

              Next Level Detailing

"We'll take your car to the next level!"

I don't know... I need to stop worrying about the name so much, but I don't want it to sound cheesy. Let me know what you guys think, if its stupid, I want to know.

I liked www.MonsterDetail.com so much I bought it, don't know if I'll ever use it though.

I own CleanImageDetail also, haven't really done anything with it due to time constraints. Business people know it's important to present a professional image and part of this is being clean, as in nice clothes, hair cut or hair style, etc. This would transfer also to a clean car.

When people see a car with a business sign on it and it's clean their thoughts are more positive towards the business/owner/driver than if the car is dirty.

                www.KylesCleanImageDetail.com

                www.BillsCleanImageDetail.com

My idea when I registered www.CleanImageDetail.com was to to enable other guys to play off the name if they couldn't think of anything else and then I was going to make the website templates available for free that way they could build a website by simply changing a few things like name, phone number, address, e-mail etc.

While the domain names above are somewhat clumsy, the marketing material would tend to lay out better.

                Or something like that...

Just some ideas, Henry Ford once said,

                  Re: My business name

all depends how much you are going to charge for detailing. If ALOT and you are in CA, then
"Upscale shine detailing" could be an option

That's not only a good name, but it has a great tag line as well.

                          Re: My business name

We just got our verizon yellow pages today. First thing I do is flip to the detailers section. We have local a new guy in town called -SUPER SHINE.

His web site even has; "give us a try you will not be disappointed" just like mine does!

Makes you wonder what they are thinking.

                            Re: My business name

                            How about "The Gleam Team"

Or maybe "Shimmer for your Bimmer"

                            Or "Clean Machine Detailing Services"

                            OR... "Remarkable Sparkle"

People remember rhymes and alliteration more easily than non-poetic strings of words.
