  • My business name

I've been thinking of a name for my mobile detailing business and the only thing I've come up with that actually "sticks" is

    Classic Shine Auto Detailing

I'm going to check and see if anyone is already operating under that or a similar name in my area. What do you guys think?

It sounds like a good name. the first impression I got was your going to be doing it old school. All by hand. But I still Like the name.

Just checked on GoDaddy, the domain name is available...

      CLASSICSHINEAUTODETAILING.COM is available!

This would be one of our first things to check.

          Great another "shine" detailer.

When I started back in 1989 nobody was shine anything. Now in So cali we have -

          super shine

          auto shine

          mobile shine

          shine shop

          shine detailing

          shine for show

          shine time

          -- to name a few.

i'd still pay to have Mike or Richard detail my MINI.

its not the name that counts, but the man behind the name.

                Joe <--- completely relaxed.

If I had to name my business now I would do it with a name that is unique and has nothing to do with detailing.

How about changing your name to some unidentifiable symbol?

Then we can call you The Mobile Detailer Formerly known as Superior Shine.

                        Re: My business name

                        I also like classic shine.

My customers are getting confused. One lost my card and called 411 for "super shine".

I get checks written out to super shine, sun shine, etc...

If I had to it over againI would be a name such as -

                        MONSTER DETAIL,

no shine, or image, or reflection, or touch anything. They are starting to all sound alike.

That would be cool, then make up a symbol, then when we get tired of that, call ya The Artist formerly known as Superior Shine or....Prince.
