    names,my 2 cents

    here are my brain farts:

    car brite,
    shine solutions,
    fine shine,
    orbital-detail.com,
    detail4you.com,
    precious car care,
    mirror shine detailing,
    daily detailing service,
car beauty salon,(is this proper english?)
    shine pro's,
    immaculate shine factory,
    detail factory,
    car dream detailing,

    some liners:
your car will be fine,if we do the shine,
a sharp looking car, will take you far,
our goal is to forfill your needs
if quality is your goal, then we're the right to call

don't know if you can do anything with it,but i hope this helps to kick off your idea machinery.

    remember:
english is not my country's language,so sometimes i'm wrong on some words.

    bye,
    Rick

      Scrubadub was a good one!

Aiken detail was kind of vanilla for me too.

I like the additional catch phrase you added!

Now I have to try and decide... Thanks for your assistance.

I aggre with "make it memorable". Yours is awesome and fitting. Perfect play on words.

I'll check the availability of the name in my area.

If I lean towards any other name than Detailing Aiken I will use the "detailing service" sounds pro and stuff. For some reason Detailing Aiken sounds, I don't know, like, well it just flows...

Thanks for the dot com research as you stated I think the company name would be safe for use over here, just the web url.

The play on service names is great and will be used in my price list menu... Thanks for this idea I was having trouble with this also. Don't like to cut down my own services with poor naming like "budget detail" or "basic detail". I want every client to feel they are truly getting a full detail to the best of my ability not some cut corner hack job. Not trying to offend anyone, but judging by the pro's on this forum should be none taken!!

Thanks for reply... I really hadn't done a filter to see if my proposed names covered both regular and hi end detailing. I will take a hard look at this. Thanks for the heads up. I was so busy trying to think up a name I missed this minor "detail".

Looking at those winter pics... I sure don't miss those Indy winters!!! Neither does my southern belle!

      NewlyCarCrazy
I'll check that name to see if its available in the area. Thanks for reply. That name would solve the hi end vs regular dilemma.

      the newbie
First off your english is great. The names you mentioned are right along the lines I'm looking for. By the way feel free to offer up some rotterdam flavor to the name search. I would be intersted to see what you can come up with. Or at least the english version. you offering of liners are very good too. Real good and catchy..

Thanks again for everyones help so far. It's been fun talkin with all of you and hearing the different ideas out there. Thanks for taking this seriously and offer some insightful help. We have 31 replies before this one. That's a pretty good thread but upon further review the lenght of the replies are more than a quick one liner. Thanks for the depth and thoughtfulness of replies.

No decision time!!! Drum roll please!!! The name I've decided to invest my detailing career on ISSSSSS.......

      NO NAME DETAILING SERVICES

      Well maybe not???

Don't get me wrong we've made tons of progress. I've learned some valuable lessons about seeing through the customer’s eyes.

Honestly what did you think about the name No Name Detailing Services??

                So far I like

                Mirror Shine Detailing
                Ultimate showroom shine
                Detailing Aiken
                Every little detail
                ultimate shine detailing service
                something with VIP in it
something that welcomes all, even boats

Reflections would be a good name I hadn't thought about that.

For some reason Detailing Aiken just speaks to me.

Went to price biness cards today. Wow! Here goes photoshop.

Thanks again for the help. I'm gonna land on this by the end of the weekend.. I hope.

Lose anything that sounds like everybody else. I wouldn't have shine in my name if I could do it over again.

mirrior, shine, VIP, executive, reflections, perfect finish, etc..... all have been used over and over again.

go with something that is completely diff.

That is kind of how I was feeling too. I just couldn't formulate into words, i guess.

Thanks. I think detailing aiken is original in my neck of the woods. Do you think it sounds different?

                          Hey Scrub,

You've mentioned this several times now. If this is what your gut is telling you then go for it!

I think it's pretty cool sounding and a nice double meaning on words. You've got your town covered!

For those of us that don't know Aiken from Aching try the name with your own city inserted.

                          Detailing Detroit
                          Detailing Indy
                          Detailing New York
                          .etc.

Hey, take two aspirins, sleep on it over the weekend and come back to see us on Monday!

                          Hey it's been fun!

Wow, while I was typing my last post everyone else was posting as well and I didn't even see their responses until I submitted.

If we all saw your post and it hit us all the same way/time, then it must be fate!

                            Go for it!
