black audi a4 with holograms :(

well i have one last chance to work out my holograms before i have to give up the driveway.

last weekend, i picked up my rotary and orbital buffer with meguiars cutting, polishing, and finishing pads.

i used some of the SMR 2.0 with the finishing pad and it didn't seem to do much...the finish got really shiny, but after a recent rain i noticed that the swirls were not gone.

does anyone have any final suggestions for removing these stinking holograms? the products available to me are:

3m SMR
3m fine cutting
medallion premium paint cleaner
scratchx

in the interest of my saniety i need to severly diminish these swirls! unfortunately i can not get ahold of a PC backing plate or adapter by this weekend, or i'd try one of those ....

Have you checked out Meguiar's #83 and #80? Both can be used with a PC, and the results that I have seen by users on this forum have been phenomenal.

yea, i'd use #80 and #83 with a PC, but unfortunately I don't know where I can pick up those in the area, and I also do not have access to a PC.

i can pick up a PC quick at lowes, but i can't find a place in the area that has the velcro backing plates for it.

the problem is that i wanted to try to get this done this weekend
