Hello, new to the board, but I have been reading through autopia for ~1 month. I have finally learnt true car care and detailing, and I really wanna do a detailing for my car.
well, my car is a white 97 mustang that has tons of swirls!!
I'm going to use the following in this sequence:
1. Wash
2. Clay
3. Wash again
4. # 83 with a random orbital buffer
5. #82 with a random orbital buffer
6. #7
7. # 26 / NXT
Is this good enough to remove most of the swirl marks?
and is both #83 and #82 necessary? If not, I don't have to purchase both of them, since I'm planning to pick them up tomorrow in NAPA.
Do I need to use a random orbital buffer to apply #7 and #26?
One final question, after the wash, do I have to dry the car or not before I use the clay bar?
Well, tons of questions, but I just need help from you experts to put all the pieces of puzzle back together and I really appreciate that!
