By saying that PlastX was non-abrasive, Mike was saying that it leaves no abrasions behind.

This is why things like #80, or ColorX, etc are sometimes considered non-abrasive.

Non-abrasive as I use it mean the product will not leave swirls or scratches behind if properly used. Some products that are non-abrasive do contain a diminishing abrasive to help remove the defects, but used correctly they remove the defect without instilling swirls and scratches.

Sorry for the confusion, but using the word abrasive also confuses people as then they think the product contains scratchy grit or something like it Meguiar's products do not contain scratchy, gritty, sharp mechanical abrasives like old-fashioned rubbing and polishing compounds.

The key for me here was "IF PROPERLY USED". I had used the product for removing haze and scratches and got great results. I had not used it on pristine plastic and was concerned I might work it to much. It likely would not have caused me any problems but I fely more comfortable slapping the #20 on it until I gain more experience with it.
