    Hey,

My preference for the wheel wells is to use Meguiar's Safe D-Greaser D-10501 or Meg's APC followed by Hyper Dressing diluted at 3:1.

    And...the "E" stands for Equipment!

Sometimes dressings can attract dirt or even sling onto the adjacent panels and or wheels. If you want a more permanent coating to make the wells look nice, try using black paint.

Spray cans are fine, but you can use a paint gun as well: just be careful with overspray with either. Best way to spray is on a dry surface with the outer edges of fenders, etc masked. I like to put it on before cleaning exterior windows, treating tires, or removing LSP's so any inadvertent spray doesn't stick to the finish.

The shade of black is up to you. Many shops use flat black, but I think that looks a little dull. A satin finish or even a gloss is more appealing to my eye. The flat doesn't stand out enough to me.

      Anyone else use such methods?

I make it a habit to wash down the wheel wells with Safe-Degreaser (3:1) each time I wash my car. After rinsing the shampoo away, before drying, I'll spray a liberal amount of Hyper Dressing (3:1) on the plastic wheel wells. By the time I finish drying the whole car, the HD is sort of settled and leaving a nice sheen. I do enjoy looking cars with clean wheel wells, especially 4WD.
