Wax with dust repellent

    Build up of electric charge during buffing = build up of electrons (negative charge).

    If dust is attracted, dust = + charge.

    We need a wax that has a net + charge in order to overcome the static charge and the + charge of the dust.

    I wonder if a set-up could be made to apply a + bias to the surface of a car while it sits....sounds like a very interesting engineering challenge! With recent progress in the area of thin film materials for use as solar cells, it seems like this type of system would be very doable in the not-so-distant future
