I would love to try the Insane Shine but am put off by the warning on the back of the can to immediately remove overspray to avoid permanent staining of paint. Sometimes this just isn't feasible and since every tire spray I've ever tried slings, I'm not going to risk it. The non-Megs stuff I use noe slings but doesn't hurt the paint and there's no warning on the can. Is this a needless concern?

I don't get sling from the IS. But I spray a tire swipe then apply. Once I have all four tires done I then use the same applicator and go hit all of them again without applying anymore product. The swipe does a great job of saoking up any excess. I have a white vehecle and if I was getting sling I would see it.

I used to get sling when I sprayed directly on the tire and did not remove the excess. Hence the incorporation of the tire swipe into the mix. Works like a champ for me.

I have Endurance, Insane Shine, and Hot Shine.

Each Three have their own advantages and disadvantages. I find myself not using any of them lately, but using Hyper dressing ( ), which I find disturbing that I use Hyperdressing on almost every part of my car!

Here's what I've noticed about the Products...

Insane Shine- great most "reflective" shine on your tires, last forever, but picks up lots of dust. Makes your white walls darken some what.

Hot Shine- Sort of a less Insane shine. It doesn't last quite a long, but then again it doesn't pick up as much dust, its about the same shine as IS.

Endurance- I just started using Endurance about a month ago, I like the fact its a gel and much cleaner to apply than an aresol type can. It last a very long time, and its a very conservative gloss. It has a more professional look to it that both IS and HS.

Hyper Dressing- I'm using hyper dressing 2:1, and I love this stuff. Yes it picks up more dust than Endurance, but the gloss it gives is much differnt that all the above three, it make my tires look very dark and glossy. Plus I find HD easier to remove than the above three.

I had the most sling from Endurance, and it was very difficult to remove from the paint. I have not had that issue with Insane Shine. I think the performance of a tire dressing has a lot to do with the tire it is being used on. Serrated markings and raised lettering or not has a lot to do with how much sling there is.

Endurance worked great for me on Goodyear Eagle GS-C tires, but not so good on Goodyear Eagle F1 tires.
