Hey man, a great place to get an idea of the entire detailing process would be this video provided by meguiars. It includes the 5 step process and displays many of its best selling products.

Switch to Linux. Use energy efficient lightbulbs and appliances. Keep your car well maintained and drive easy to save gas. Eat less fast food. Call your mother and tell her you love her. Try flying a kite. Read a wikipedia article daily. Use Meguiar's.

I found it! (Detailer Wash & Wax)

Thay had one gallon left, but the guy talked like they could get more of it.

They also had something called "Meguiar's Poly Wash" in the red consumer bottle......Had a case or two of it.

I also saw MPPC, MPPP, and beside it there was a Medallion product in the gallon jug. I think it was MPPC but I couldn't get hold of the container without knocking over a few items. So I asked the guy what it was for, and he became irritated with me.

As a matter of fact, the longer I browsed, the more abrasive he became. He said, "I don't recall seeing you in here before?".....I said, " I've been in here before, but it's been a while."

He ranted on and on, (Made me feel like I was a bum or something) until I decided I better leave.

The bottom line is: I take it that they want you to know *exactly* what you want, before you come into their store. If you're much in question, or want to see their selection and read the bottles, then they want you to get out.

I am a clean cut guy, and I don't wear weird looking clothes, or anything like that, so I don't understand his actions at all. But I doubt he'll ever get anymore of my business, if I can help it.

        Here's a related thread....

        P. S. They also had #19 in a can, and I saw something in a black spray bottle called "Meguiar's Paint Protector?"......Must be like a QD or something.

Well it obviously sounds like Franco's is still under the same ownership. It's ridiculous that they treat their customers the way they do. I mean, I maybe can see them having a bad day and maybe treating one customer like that. However, knowing the way I was treated in there and then hearing your comments. It sounds like it's a common problem. They really have serious issues. I think I will retract what I just said. Under no circumstances is there a reason for a place of business to treat it's customers the way they do. I tried filing a complaint through the Better Business Bureau and basically all they did was sent a letter of the complaint to Franco's. It was my understanding they couldn't do anything.

            You know what's funny?

I was asked if I needed help, and then I replied: "What's this product for?" And he said: "Read the bottle and it will tell you."

Better be glad you didn't ask the price. He really would have had a bad attitude. Trust me I did it. I'm just glad you didn't have to experience the older lady (the owner). If you think her son's attitude was bad, she is a real you know what.

I didn't see her that day.

I wonder if they're fixing to expand?

They were doing a little demolition work there earlier this year.

To be perfectly honest with you I could care less if they are expanding. I will never step foot into their store again unless it's under new management.
