all 3 of those mentioned are exellent. just make sure to not wash it as it will lose the chemicals that are on the fibers. buy any of those 3 stated and you will not be disappointed
Originally posted by Lt1Corvette I had one. Tried an OXO duster and gave the California Duster away. I like the OXO a thousand times better. Check them out. Autopia sells them.
What do you like better about the OXO compared to the CCD? I was thinking about the OXO but want to try the Meguiars too.

I just washed my California Duster this weekend. I filled the sink with water and Tide and soaked the duster overnight. The water was red in the morning. I scrubbed it using some Tide and my hands then let it air dry. It seems like it still works fine. Did I ruin the product?

I too am waiting for the Meg's duster
i think so. like i said, you removed the chemicals , like waxes and stuff ( sorry i don't know what is exactly on them ) from the fibers. sure it will pick up dirt from the first 2-3 times, but after that, it will be doing more harm than good :\
I believe the Meguiar's Body Duster should be available very soon or perhaps is already shipping.
I have been testing the Meg's Body Duster and I can assure you, it is WAY better than the CCD!! My CCD used to leave waxy/oily streaks on the paint etc. I hated it! But the Meg's Body Duster does what it is supposed to. It gently removes the dust without the waxy/oily streaks!!! An awesome product!!!
I just recieved my Meguiars Versa Angle Body Duster from Rick at Autodetailingsoultions. I had just washed my black today, and drove down a road that had construction going on, the car was fairly dusty when I returned home. 5-10 minutes later it looked like I had just washed it again, the Duster worked great!

The CCD is tricky, especially when new! You have to set it on some newspaper to absorb the excess wax.
So does this mean we don't have to do that with the Meguiars duster? And it doesn't streak on warm or recently waxed surfaces? Those would be big pluses!
RamAir,
I didn't notice any streaking or residue on the car after wiping it down and it was very warm. I had just put a coat of 26 on the car this morning so it was freshly waxed as well.
