Ok...getting ready to order products and do my first detailing. I have the PC7336 and will be ordering the Meg backing plate, pads, ultimate bonnets and wipes. I have a 2003 Trailblazer in Dark Grey Metallic and it is in good condition overall. I'm looking for a nice finish, but not over-doing the manual labor! Here is my plan.
1. Wash with NXT wash.
2. Do the clay bar step.
3. Use one of the "80's" products
4. Finish with the NXT wax.
My eyes are blurry from so many hours of reading posts on this site. I figure if my paint is in decent shape, this should provide a nice look without taking two days and having my arm fall off.
Any comments on my plan would be appreciated. Of course, I will have the MF wipes and proper washing mitt, etc. I'm just not sure what to use in step 3 or if this step is even needed.
Thanks in advance. Oh...I understand from Meg customer service that I must order the ultimate bonnets (6") by phone since they are no longer in the online store?????
