Hey Viper, I just got the same car, same color, and factory body kit this week! It has the sport, tech, navi, and journey packages. Only difference is I got the light colored seats with dark carpet, and the aluminum trim instead of wood. Funny thing, I was reading this as I want to get a clear bra also, and bam, I see an M like mine! Let me know how it turns out!

You are right, the car is bad ***. I still cant get over the pull to 60mph for a car thats 4,000LBS. You would think it has over 400hp to pull such a 60mph time as big as it is. My Vette is heavily moded so I can more then run with my local Viper pals, and the M still impresses.

I have the 3M clear bra all over the bumper and the side mirrors. Furthermore, it extends up about 20 inches up the hood and about 18 inches on the roof (front, around the sunroof).

I treat them just like paint/clear coat. The whole detailing ritual involves wash, clean (DC-1), polish (DC-2) and NXT.

So far, the results are great.

Hm, I have been told not to polish it, just wax it

          3M Clear Bra

3M says the paint protection film is 6 mils thick including 1/2 mil of clear coat. There is also 2 mils of adhesive.

3M does not recommend use of any abrasive polishes, just wax.

3M did say they are coming out with a recommended procedure for hand polishing.

Does anyone recommend one brand over another? I just got a new Tundra and I am going to put a clear bra on it.
