About 2 weeks ago I corrected the paint on my Avalon then put on a layer of Jetseal 109. Every couple of days since then I've used Meg's quick detailer in the maroon bottle to clean the dust off. The leaves have just started falling off the trees here and today I noticed pieces of them sticking to the bottom half of the doors, like they're being held on by static electricity or something. Don't know what's causing this; any idea if it's from the QD or Jetseal? Thanks.

Re: Bits & pieces of dead leaves clinging to door bottoms
I think you're right - static electricity - caused by wiping the dust with QD. You probably also have "wipe holograms" as well, but because it's dry in Denver they're invisible. Instead, try a California Duster, followed by UWWA/D115, a thicker fluid that won't smear. Your towels may also have a charge from the drier.Non-Garaged Daily Driver, DAMF System + M101, Carnauba Finish Enthusiast

Try an antistatic QD, such as menzerna endless shine.
While it's not as pleasant to smell as UQD and the bottle is ugly cheaply made HDPE but the antistatic effect is sweet and the water beading effect is very nice.
