  • Whats best for hidden surfaces?

The significant other recently picked up a new car and I am aiming to get this thing waxed and winter prepped very soon. I am pretty good about upkeep on my car when it comes to washing and waxing but she is not so receptive to give up the car for a few hours so I can work my magic. I am thinking of just going with Ultimate wax on the whole car. What I am not so sure about is all the hidden painted surfaces like the inside of doors, trunk, hood etc. I want something that is going to give decent protection and hopefully last a while as these areas probably won't see much/if any other than washing in the way of care after I do this til next spring. It seems like I have quite a few options these days. Stick with the Ultimate wax like the I will already have on the rest of the car, Ultimate Quik Wax, or the Paint Protect stuff. The Paint Protect seems to be exactly what I am looking for, but what looks good on paper (or a webpage) doesn't always translate so well.

    Thoughts? Experiences?

Either of those options works. I say pick one and run with it. The benefit of UQW is that it is quick to get those areas done.

Any of our waxes which you would typically use on the exterior painted surfaces of the vehicle would be OK to use on these hidden areas, provided the areas are a smooth & glossy surface. We find most users will use a spray wax like our Ultimate Quik Wax on these hidden surfaces.

Right, I wouldn't use PP, but a QW (Quik Wax, like Ultimate or Gold Class) or UWWA (Ultimate Wash & Wax Anywhere) on your door jambs and whatnot. That's all you'll need, and both of those will make keeping the non-hidden surfaces freshly waxed in minutes

I used PP365 on those spots, as i did on the rest of the car
