  • Advantage Ultimate Wash n Wax Anywhere

It just occurred to me that the Ultimate Wash n Wax Anywhere may be the best way to wash car even if no water shortage. Cause it of the way it cleans contaminates off the car and its slipperiness. .. or is the regular wash the same formula. UWWA less likely to scratch .. Just looking for other opinions, thanks all alex

I rave about UWWA, and it's jaw-dropping what it does, but it's not the best way to wash a car. A bucket-wash with UWW and/or Gold Class Shampoo (I mix them) will always be better, cleaning-wise, and gets to all the areas you can't always see or reach (I wouldn't clean brake dust off the barrels of my wheels and the calipers with an MF towel, for example, nor would it do much more than create a mess). However, I use UWWA regularly to keep the overall car clean enough and wax-boosted, along with GCQW. Yes, UWWA is amazing, but as great as it is for paint, glass and trim, I always know there are areas of the car that are still filthy.

I just meant UWWA s advantage is use only on body not wheels n other misc areas.

Well, it depends. If you regularly get caught on the interstate in the rain in heavy traffic, UWWA alone will have its limits, and you'll constantly have to wash and rotate a bunch of quality MF towels. That means water

What I've found is UWWA allows me to go waterless nearly indefinitely, but only while the weather is fair, or as I can avoid foul weather driving.

One drive on a wet, oily road anywhere near big trucks can break a long streak of waterless, and since the wheels and undercarriage are even more trashed than the paint, it's too much. Yes, UWWA could clean up very well paint-wise, but after all my towels are soiled and I still have nasty wheels and such, I'd wonder if it wouldn't be better to run by a coin-op first, or do a full bucket-wash (I've only done 4 this year). UWWA and QW can also build up a film as well, especially in humidity. This film means "wipe holograms" are almost unavoidable without a lot of careful buffing with QW. However, this film often clears when the car just sits in the rain to get a natural rinse.

These patterns and strategies are key to maintaining sanity
