Mother of Pearl is what I thought, too. Is it possible it's part of the paint itself and intended to be there? Is it uniform all over the car? Do you see the pearlescent effect move across the paint while keeping your light source at the same angle as your movements? How does it look in the sunlight? I actually like it, for what it's worth
