Cleaning ability of Gold Class, NXT etc.

So, Ive go the entry level, cleaner paste wax which Im happy wit as it has done some mild correction missed with my UC and UP session and filled some scratches

So, The gold class, ultimate and NXT line, Ive been told also have some correction ability of some kind

What additional benefits do these have and is it as potent at cleaning as the cleaner wax or are there just added fillers (the same or better)?

They offer no cleaning like a cleaner wax.

like guz said, they offer no cleaning only protection. NXT is more synthetic based where as Gold Class is more carnauba based so the differences will be in reflection and durability. Meg's White Wax does have cleaning properties though

Gold class similar durability to Cleaner wax then?

NXT should be best for harsh Winter then (we dont have harsh summer sin England!!)

It's difficult to figure out what you're asking and what you need. These are polish-waxes, not cleaner-waxes. What does that mean? Not much if you're just putting them on lightly and wiping off, more if you work them with a DA pad and try to replace other steps with them. Which wax is better for YOU depends on what you like and what combinations you put together. No wax is going to last more than a few weeks at full strength, due to sunlight and weather and washing. That debate is pure hype and marketing, not fact. If you have these products along with the cleaner-wax you've talked about or others, try them all on separate test areas and see what looks best on your paint. For daily maintenance, you'll want to use quik waxes to extend the wax, so GCQW for Gold Class, NXT for NXT, etc. If it says "Meguiar's" on it, it's going to be a great product, so it's just a question of which ones you fall in love with

In my experience, Gold Class had more longevity than Cleaner Wax (A12). Both products we're applied after clay bar treatment. However, when I use the Gold Class it was after polishing the paint.

Right. I've had good results with UPW, haven't used quick wax at all because I'd be reapplying it every week.
