  • Using Gold Class High Gloss Premium Quik Detailer as clay lube?

    Hi everyone,

I just had a quick question about using the Gold Class Quik Detailer as a clay lubricant. Is it ok to use this product for this purpose? I understand that the Quik Detailer Mist & Wipe (red bottle) is more cost effective and works just fine, but what about the Gold Class? Does it work any better? I've heard that the Ultimate Quik Detailer is NOT meant to be used a clay lube. Thanks!

Oh yes, it's fine. I use it that way. It's a bit "oiler" than the main line QD, and seems a better lube, using less.
