    Well It's a white car not black. And I have not had a chance to wax anything but the hood. I ran out of sunlight yesterday and it's been raining today. But thank you for your answer. I figured I could wax this plactic because it is not porous but I wanted to make sure.
    It is smooth and clear coated like the metal panels . It's most noticeable where the quarter panel meets the plastic bumper cover and where the hood meets the plastic "nose/bumper" I'm not sure if the difference is gonna be noticeable in these Picts. If the sun comes out tomorrow I will repost better Picts if these don't help.

      So you're asking if you can wax the plastic front/rear bumpers?

      Yes you can. Just treat them like the rest of the paint on the car.

      It's common for factory painted plastic bumpers to be a slightly different color to the rest of the paint. It's something to do with the different substrates being painted (metal vs plastic) but you'd think that in this day and age they could overcome the issue. Actually, it drives me crazy!

        If I remember correctly, the flex additives that keep the paint from cracking on the plastic parts does tend to make the color slightly "off" compared to the metal panels. Nothing to worry about.

          Excellent thank you both very much. Now I can confidently wax the whole car. Judging from what you have said it will not bring the color to match but it will be protected. And I will TRY to not let it drive me crazy. Even though we all know that will not totally happen. But eventually i will just not think about it.. ��

              I know this thread should end soon cause it's gotten off topic. But I have gotten so many great answers I wanna goto the well one more time. I spent most of today detailing my car. This is my first time doing "next level cleaning" as it's been called. I love every step of this and am so proud of the results. I have defentally been bitten by the bug now. My question is what should I do to keep care of the applicator pad that comes with Meguiar's Ultimate Past Wax?

                You can throw it in the washing machine when you're finished and let it air dry.

                Then store it in a cool, dry place, away from dust. Some people put them in zip lock bags to keep the dust off, but sometimes they grow mold if you do that.

                      I usually clean this pad with some APC and rinse out. I will place it on a grit guard and let it air dry over night and then place it in a zip lock. This should keep that pesky mold away.

                        You are correct about the flex additive, and what it does, however I have never noticed any difference in the color/shade of plastic and metal areas on the vehicles I have owned. Mind you, they have all been black or silver. (and not Fords)

                            I so need to print out the Acronym list. It will make reading these posts much easier. Also even though I spent Hours on my cars paint yesterday. I was out there today doing the rims and tires and I am going to do the interior. 2 of my neighbors stopped by as they were walking past my house. Basically they said something like ....Didn't you spend all yesterday washing your car, what are you doing now?? They just don't understand how difficult it is to deal with this addiction .. Now that I am hooked I just need support and understanding!!

                              Lol well you've come to the right place!

                              I know what you mean, I used to get comments from the neighbours all the time (before I had a garage). The most common one you hear is "when you've finished, you wanna do mine too?" That comment actually really pees me off! Lol

                              Now I just do everything in the garage.
