  • Detailing Bag

I am interested in purchasing a detailing bag to keep in the back of my SUV, or in the floorboard of the backseat. This is for my car only. I do not detail other peoples cars. This is not a show car. I will not need to carry my dual action polisher with me. This is just going to be a bag to keep stuff to maintain my car while on the road. I have checked on autogeek.com, detailing.com and a few other sites and most of the bags they carry appear to be made by the same company since all of them have the same dimensions 17"L x 9"W x 13"H and look almost identical except for the color and logo. I am just looking for suggestions and ideas on what you forum members use. Any help would be appreciated.

This bag is awesome. I'm glad I bought that kit in 2013. If you can find one of these I would definitely pick one up.

This one is good too. You should be able to fit what you listed.

Here is the kit from Sears. If you go in the store and can find one, they are usually cheaper. I remember going in after Christmas last year and bout 3 of them at $19.99 each. Hope this helps...

The Meguiar's bag at Sears looks promising but they are now $53... they were $19... WTF?
At $19 I wouldn't have a problem getting one. At $53 I feel like I am just getting ripped off.

              Re: Detailing Bag

I just use an old cloth bag and keep it in the trunk. Sometimes, product bottles leak, etc, and I don't want to have to care about a "nice" bag I use the cargo net to keep the bag from rolling around. In it or with it, I keep a duster, GC Detailer & QW and some Ultimate Black, clay, a small toolkit, and several MF rags all handy.
