In the spirit of being ecstatic [and sometimes giddy] about dramatic paint transformations; i wanted to share this picture.
As you can see to the left side of the picture, before correction there are a few types of defects in the paint such as:
1] Layer upon layer of spider web swirl marks for YEARS of improper washing.
2] Type I and Type II water spots from wax neglect and parking near errant sprinklers.
3] Some Deeper RIDS [random isolated deep scratches] which were, at times, hard to locate beneath the swirl marks.
4] Bird Etchings.
All of these conditions caused the paint to appear almost a dull grey and most certainly covered up whatever flex were in this metallic paint job.
This three phase paint correction was performed with a D.A., Meguar's Microfiber Discs, Meguiar's M100, and finished with M205. and it was a 97F day outside.. so the correction could have been even better in mild conditions.
It truly goes to show how powerful the D.A. can be when paired with the proper pad, compound, and liquid...
I hope you all enjoy and drool
over the results as I did.

Enjoy and Keep on Buffin'...
