    Re: Clay lube

I've got a friend in my car club that just keeps a hose handy to keep the car wet as he clays. He told me he pretty much has the nozzle in one hand and sprays the panel as he works it with the clay in the other hand keeping it continuously lubricated. It seems to work as his car is beautiful! I wonder how fresh, clean water works though as a lubricant.

Thanks for the heads up. I actually use a nano scrub rather than clay. I find this to be a good alternative in case i drop it. All i need to do is wipe and rinse the scrub very well and start again.

I have heard the same thing about clay. Not sure if this is true for Meguiar's clay. I myself use nanoskin sponges with D155.
