Hi all,
A car I bought has a flat mirror double-sided taped to the original convex mirror on the right-hand side. However I prefer the original convex mirror. Since I prefer not to replace it when there is a perfectly good mirror underneath I was looking for suggestions on removing the new flat mirror (and the double sided tape connecting it).
I tried using fishing wire and I can cut into the tape pretty deep but around the centre there is a lot of resistance so I am hesitant to yank too hard without finding a way to soften the glue/tape. Anything I can pour in there that may soften the tape/glue for example (without damaging the car or mirror).
Thanks in advance.
