I'm more than sure there are plenty of posts about this but I couldn't find for some reason. I've noticed that many have mentioned that M26 is great to use especially on dark colored cars. I had planned on using Ultimate Liquid Wax on a Black Mazda 6 after claying, UC, UP but am curious as to if I should incorporate M26 into the mix. If so, when would be the best time to apply or should I use it in place of something? I would appreciate some input. As always, thanks for your time everyone.

Some people see a difference in looks, just personal opinion. So 'should' is just up to you. ULW is going to look really good too..
If so, you would either do two coats of #26, or ULW then #26.
The ULW will be more durable/protective, so that is also a consideration if important to you.2017 Subaru WRX Premium - WR Blue

M26 is a great wax. As previously stated a sealant is applied first then a carnauba. Murr gave you some good info. I like the look of either M21/M26 and UW/M26. Try it out.

I'm not a fan of topping, mainly because it's a placebo, but also because I'm not garage-kept, so re-waxing the next day is not a very bright idea, for obvious reasons.
M26 Yellow Wax is a sister product to Gold Class. I use GC on my black pearl-metallic and another pearl-gold/cinnamon red car, partly as it's so easily found in stores, but also because it's generally the newer version of M26, I'm told. I've found, for my tastes, the Ultimate/NXT silvery look is too hazy and silver on my black car, so the classic show car golden look is much, much deeper, wetter and blacker.
However, I do use Ultimate Compound and Ultimate Polish first. Those two are based on M105 and M205, and really should not be called "Ultimate" - Meg's puts that "Ultimate" label on way too many products, IMHO. So, the UP polished paint will look outstanding, and then you choose your wax and matching quik products to protect all that claying, compounding and polishing.Non-Garaged Daily Driver, DAMF System + M101, Carnauba Finish Enthusiast
