  • in which order is best

To boost a daily drive do you use a QD then a QW? Or can you use a QW then a QD? Or can you use just either 1 and not the other? An if you use just 1 which would be the better of the 2?

When my car is just slightly dusty, I use UQD and usually follow with UQW. UQW is intended to be used on clean paint. UQD, OTOH, is intended to be used to remove slight soiling without inducing marring. UQW offers an optimum level of slickness and appearance.

I agree. I tend to think of Gold Class QD as a cleaner for my purposes, so Gold Class QW is the final last touch wax, just as if I were DA waxing with Gold Class liquid wax. I never use them in the other order, and I don't always use them both.

If I've just washed the car in full, then I only need a fresh application of QW to boost. Sometimes, the QW builds up a lot of residue if I go a long time between full washes (two months is my record, a time with no rain or other issues requiring a wash), so I'll do waterless cleaning with QD, which can help strip down the excess QW residue.

BTW, I keep several sets of microfibre rag sets washed and in rotation, and I also use QD/QW on other things around the car, like my painted wheels, all the glass (inside and out), etc, and there are other things besides the cars needing a quick polish and wax. So, I might go through a bottle of QD or QW in a few months or less!

Sounds like you need to bump it up a get done gallons of Last Touch and/or D156.

Other items to consider in gallon sizes:
          •M135 Synthetic Spray Detailer
          •D101 All Purpose Cleaner
          •D108 Super Degreaser
          •D111 Shampoo Plus
          •D120 Glass Cleaner Concentrate
          •D155 Last Touch Spray Detailer
          •D156 Synthetic Xpress Spray Wax

Watch for the occasional free shipping offers to make these gallon sized items a super value.

Or maybe D301 with D155 - not a bad idea

My thought process was to use last touch as a final wipe down or when dusty and d156 as a booster in between waxes.
