I was wondering what brushes or other options To clean in between words and emblems without scratching. I've seen some people use various brushes including tooth brushes. But I'm wondering what will and will not scratch. Any and all feedback is appreciated

I use a shaving brush. It's made of boars hair and is pretty effective at removing crud.Jim

I use a synthetic paint brush from the hardware store (not cheap but much cheaper then a detailer's brush) Mine is round and able to get into the badge crevices. I also going to get another one for wheels only.

I use one of these.
Clean Wheel Lug Nut Brush - Clean hard to reach areas of the wheel with our 1 inch genuine boars hair brush! Clean every inch of your wheel with our 1 inch Clean Wheel Lug Nut Brush. Our Clean Wheel Lug Nut Brush delves into the deep, hard-to-reach ...
To remove any caked on wax from letters or emblems I use the rubber end of these. The brush end I use to clean trim pieces.

Seriously. The small diameter Simoniz polisher does a decent job of getting into the emblemsOriginally posted by BluelineI own a silver vehicle and a black vehicle owns me. The black one demands attention, washing, detailing, waxing and an occasional dinner out at a nice restaurant. The silver one demands nothing and it looks just fine. I think the black vehicle is taking advantage of me, and the silver car is more my style. We can go out for a drive without her makeup and she looks fine. If I want to take the black one out, it is three or four hours in the "bathroom" to get ready.

Originally posted by ClearlyCoated View PostI use rechargeable batteries for everything. I can use this little simoniz detailer 2-3 times on my car before the batteries start to run down.
It's part of a discontinued kit called Simoniz Scratch Repair. You might be able to find them on eBay or try to google a search for the kit. I think I bought mine from Big Lots
