U keep mentioning this ultimate carnauba wax. R u doing ultimate wax topped with a carnauba? Cuz ultimate doesn't have carnauba in it. Also that cheap wax spreader isn't gonna give u any real correction on the paint. I'm glad u got lucky and r happy with the results u did get. U could go to home depoy and get a porter cable 7424 for around $115. And that would give u correcting abilities.

First of all, thank you for serving.

Second, as I mentioned earlier, a more expensive polisher is not an option.

Third, I was wrong about the wax. I use Gold Class Carnauba Plus paste wax.

Fourth, I am happy with the results, and in the final analysis, that is all that matters to me.

I know that a 110v2 is close to $170 so I just thought I throw out a comparable but cheaper model for ur information for the future. Also I totally agree with u whatever makes u happy go with it, that's all that matters.

Sounds like you got the results you were looking for. FYI You could have purchased the harbor freight polisher for about $50 with a coupon. That will give you better correction but if you are happy with the results then that's all that matters.

Good point--I had forgotten about the Harbor Freight polisher until I got home, and didn't have a coupon (although I'm sure they're plentiful online).

When this one craps out, I'll more than likely get that one.

            Thanks for the tip.

The HF DA gets the job done and I have been using it for over a year and a half.
However, I do believe the Meg's DA is the better option.

I certainly do not mean to rain in on your parade but please be advised that wax does have some filling qualities.
The swirls may still be there.... just covered under the wax.
