I am a car crazy guy when it comes to information and would like to know what the following ingredient listed on a vinyl protectant is. It is called Organomodified Polymeric Emulsion. It seems like a generic description that does not really reveal what the component is. I have heard all the hype about avoiding silicone based products and don't buy into that myth, but just wanted someone in the know to confirm my suspicion of what that mystery ingredient most likely is.

Re: Another Myth Buster Type Question
Tried a google for "Organomodified Polymeric Emulsion" and I mostly come up with stuff related to Aerospace 303 protectant, and they specifically claim it is not a plysiloxane, at least as well as I understood the discussions that turned up. Some discussions seemed to have knowledgeable chemist type people, but they basically said everybody "hides" the true formulation so you can't really tell what is in it and what it does.
