Re: HELP!!! Black walnut stains on my paint, 105 won't touch them

I got all the spots off the hood without going through the clear!

It took about 4 hours, seems unusually long? I was doing everything right as far as I know, DA set to 5, microfiber cutting pad, 3-4 firm passes followed by 2 light ones, wipe off, apply 3 more little blobs to pad, clean pad every 5 or so times.

Can I use the m205 with the microfiber cutting pad or should I get a polishing pad?

yea that's a little long but who cares, you fixed it!
I use 205 on a cutting disk but with my Rupes, get the polishing pad anyways, your paint might like it more.

Well I couldn't find m205 around me so I picked up some ultimate polish and am just going to apply it by hand. Although looking at the paint I don't know if I couldn't just put a sealer on it an call it a day.
