  • Polishing Pads

Hello, I am getting ready to order polishing pads and the ultimate bonnets for my 7424 PC. I was just wondering which ones I need for applying ( #80, #21,or NXT ) I just want to make sure I order the right ones. Thanks!!!

there is a three pad set with the following

2 of these (use this for #80)

    Soft Buff® Foam Polishing Pads

And one of these (use this for #21)

    SOFTBUFFâ„¢ Finishing Pad

The set is $24.95 and should get you started.

      - #80 use the 8006 Polishing Pad
      - #21 and NXT use the 9006 Finishing Pad

here is a good post that shows pads/speed for the products you use: http://www.meguiarsonline.com/forums...&threadid=2524

You may want to make sure you have a "backing pad" for the ultimate bonnets I use a clean/unused 8006 Polishing Pad. I have read somewhere to use 7006 Cutting Pad it supports the UB better. I have not had a problem with the polishing pad, so I am sticking with it.
