    Re: removing stubborn fine scratches

Looks pretty good, but I'd say you could get it better..

We can go out for a drive without her makeup and she looks fine. If I want to take the black one out, it is three or four hours in the "bathroom" to get ready.

If you think it could be glossier, than you could try the UP again with a black finishing pad and a really low speed, I use 1 or 2 on the DA, and use really light pressure and a sloooooow arm speed moving the DA over the paint. If you want, try a test spot with this combo and check the results.

Remember though, if it looks good enough to you how it is now, than that's all that matters!

Well I can probably use the pure polish I have from mirror glaze, there is no abrasives in it. All the minor scratches and water marks are out and the finer stubborn scratches are minimized drastically.

Whoa, that looks great! Nice improvement.

M7, GCCP and UW all work wonders on black paint.

Well now, it sure looks like you've got the process sorted out now! Great reflection shots and not a bit of haze. Nicely done!!

Thanks I am learning from the best!! I am proud of what this turned out to look like. I was a bit worried when everyone said it would be too aggressive, but I think it's all coming out nicely. I did a test spot testing 205 with the finishing pad instead of UP with the polishing pas and it looks better. Is polish supposed to go on with the polishing or finishing??
