I'm pretty sure we can't have a car drying thread without mentioning the flooding (or pooling) technique.
Once you are done with your wash, remove the nozzle from the hose you are using and just use the steady stream of water to sheet the water off (assuming you have a decent coat of wax on there) and about 70-80% of the water will just gradually sheet off the car with the help of gravity. Pretty simple really. I can dry my car with two small microfiber towels when I do this, so I am all for it.
As for what I actually use to dry, I just go with the cheap microfibers from Sam's Club and they work for me. Plus I were to drop one or get it in something nasty they are cheap so I will put them in the wash or throw them out.

I have the absorber, but never used it yet....
I prefer to use a leaf blower & pat dry any remaining water with my Megs water magnet towels

Alternative Drying methods
I been using the absorber for a little more then 6 yrs to dry my car. Is this still the best thing to dry the car with.
How are those Waffle weave towels Or Microfiber towels.Tags: None
