    It's the edge on the Costco MF that cause the damage. Keep hand pressure towards the middle when folded in fourths and that will help. They are handy on wheels and cheap enough to toss more quickly. The Water Magnet or other waffle weave MF are great for drying. Even if you use compressed air or blower there is always residual moisture that will need to be mopped up.

      If you have a good wax, and after washing, you let just the hose, without the nozzle attachment, run from top to bottom of the car, what is left, you can dry off with a Kleenex. (almost)

          After I finish washing I use the 'flooding' method to rinse my car. This shortens the time needed to dry. I use microfibre towels that I bought @ Target during a recent trip. No swirls.
