300C, I think the decision ultimately is up to you. Mothers makes some great products and I've never had any complaints about their products so I don't think it would be fair for me to compare the two companies. However, I can tell you why I use Meguiars. First, I feel that their products are top notch. I can't think of any of their numerous items I have used that did not meet my expectations. They always seem to exceed them. Second, their technical support, whether it be on MOL or by phone is always courteous and helpful. Third, they ALWAYS listen to our request and feedback. This is something that I find very rare in today's society. Lastly, and most importantly, the people here have not only become aquaintences but true friends and that means the world to me.

One only need look at the prestigious Pebble Beach Concours d’ Elegance competition where, year after year, Meguiar's is preferred by those who are caring for their priceless vehicles. By a large majority, most choose Meguiar's.

I like both, mothers and meguiars. i really like the ultimate quick detailer and ultimate quik wax, easier to use and seems to give more depth than mothers. but then, mothers gives a different gloss that might appeal to other car lovers. If i were to give my reason for switching to megs, its gotta be the ultimate quik detailer and quik wax.

why choose when you can use both brands? in my opinion both are equally good.. If you want just go and get meguiars products. Its worth it, meguiars not only sell products they also show their buyers how to keep their cars looking good for some time to come.

It's in some aspects meguiars offers better ease of use. OK in my experience, mothers FX applies easier and removes alot easier than NXT, and removal seems to have less tendedncy to smear.. but in some cases some mothers waxes can be a bit dustier when removed vs. meguiars. and meguiars seems to allow for more work time when the waxes are applied for it to be spread even thinner. I enjoy applying NXT 2.0 seems to give me more time to spread it thinly

I've tried Mother's FX, the application of it is very nice but I don't think the look is on par with some of the other Meguiar's waxes.

meguiar's seems to have an edge in terms of depth. However, let's not rule out the reflections line of mothers it seems to offer the best depth among mothers polymer waxes
