Every fall I clean up my Harley with compound, polish and wax. The bike was in a heated garage all day at about 60*-70*. The surface was room temperature to the touch but no direct heat being applied to the bike. Same conditions as usual. After using UC, I was going to apply #7 as I have many, mnay times in the past. As I applied the polish, by hand, almost immediately it started to dry and kind of clump together on the surface and I could not spread it out. See attached photos. The photo I took after the polish was only on for about 10 seconds. I had a miserable time trying to wipe it off as you can imagine. The bottle of #7 was new this summer and I have used it on my car with no similar issues. After I got the #7 cleaned up I applied NXT with no issues. Any thoughts on what happened???
