    Re: Anyone have any pictures?

Thanks a lot, I appreciate everything you are trying for me. I never had this problem on my car, It only appeared after my first use with a DA. My steps were:

    wash GC
    Megs Clay
    Swirlx, LC Orange pad
    Cleaner Wax
    NXT
I'm not sure but i think i started noticing it after i wiped off the Swirlx.
Am i obsessed?? A car is the second biggest financial investment for most people, why not keep it looking better than new?

Could just be the orange pad was too strong.

        Hey! There he is!

I wondered that too after reading another thread. Will going over it with a white pad take it away? Swirlx i would guess?

If you have them on hand, that would be the first thing to try on a test spot.

That to me suggests it is micro pitting from freeway driving. Over time all the time rocks, pebbles, debris etc that bounce up from the cars in front of you will leave itty, bitty dimples in the paint that can't be polished out. It would require sanding down and then buffing it out - something a factory clearcoat wouldn't allow for.

As for testing to see if it will remove, wash a small section, and dry. If it is still there, rule out dried QD. Then take a foam applicator and try applying a paint cleaner such as SwirlX or Ultimate Compound with some passion to a single, small test area.

Still no change? It is most likely pitting.

I'm anxious to hear the final solution to the problem. I blew the photo up a couple of times and it looked like "pruning" of my fingers after being in water too long, yet gmitch said it didn't have a texture.

                  Re: Anyone have any pictures?

So I tried yesterday with swirlx and lc white pad and still no success. I know some one suggested micro pitting bit I just don't think that's it. The car only has 26k on it and not much highway driving. No other car I've ever had has done that. The specks aren't obvious at all and only sunlight shows it if ur trying to find it. It's not product because product wipes off. But it kinda looks like dried product.
