      You probably could use a mulitpurpose adhesive because they are so small and dont weigh much and is not exposed to wind pressure. But make sure the adhesive is not permanent or it might leave a mark when you pull them off again.

        Try using a toothbrush or Q-tip with a little cleaner wax.

            I would take a terry cloth or microfiber towel and wrap it tight around something like the handle of a tooth brush and apply a little paint cleaner like Swirl X or you could try some cleaner wax (depending on what you have) and then you can get in close with the towel covered end of the tooth brush handle to get in close to the emblem and rub that residue off.

              Take off the rear emblems. Just leave the Audi rings. You will be happy you did. Not only does it look cleaner but you wont waste time trying to get rid of the wax builup around the emblems.
