Hi, im new to posting on the forum but have been researching for quite some time now. I recently bought a red 350z and it has moderate swirls and a few light scratches. The main problem is that there are quite a few real small chips. As soon as spring comes along I am planning on doing a full detail.
I have a PC 7424 and various pads (cut, polish, finish). My first question is would it be best to try and apply some touch up paint and clear before I do my detail? This is what I was planning on doing that way I can level off the touch up clear to match the factory paint, but just want to make sure I'm not going to mess anything up.
Also I have Meguiars medium-cut cleaner, deep crystal polish, swirl remover and tech wax 2.0. The more research I do I am leaning towards picking up M105 and M205. Is it worth me picking up M105 instead of using the medium-cut cleaner? If I use the medium-cut cleaner would I be better to use fine-cut cleaner or M205 next.
I would really appreciate any advice from the experts on here. Especially if you have experiance with Nissan Paint. Thanks in advance.
