i used it to remove the swirls that are in my car. first i wet a towel and wiped the car down and dryed it. from there i used swirl x on a x3070 pad. with pressure and i still have swirls mind you my paint is ****. but have i done something wrong?
what is an x3070 pad? Do you mean X8207 or X7207 or X9207?
Anyway, Swirlx should take care of light swirls on soft paint.
If I remember correctly, you're paint is single stage white or is it clear coat white?
If it is single stage white then Swirlx probably won't cut it (pun intended) because single stage white is some of the hardest paint you can work on. I believe either Mike Stoops and/or Mike Phillips said this.

Like any introduction of a product to your cars finish, did you do a small test spot first? (10x10 or 12x12 spot?)
I would suggest if you did not, start small so you can figure out the right course of action for the job. There is a very good possibility the swirls will need a machine (da or rotary) if they wont come out
^ yeah thats true. and i dont have a da. my car was clean so i wiped it down with a wet towel. then worked on it with a appy and swirl x. is honda paint hard to get rid of swirls?

you don't just wipe your car down with a wet towel and start. that can actually add swirls. you should really wash it. maybe even clay it. it might take several applications and also it takes some time and effort. maybe you can try again when you fix your da? hopefully it goes better the next time u try and u get the results you want, swirl x is a good product
As Jordan points out, SwirlX is a very good product. But it's also pretty mild so it's going to have its limitations, as does anything. How severe the defects are, how hard the paint is, how aggressively it's applied will all impact the success of its use. The car in question we know to be a bit older and somewhat neglected, so the paint could be fairly dried out, which could make it a bit more resistant to correction.
We're curious as to how much pressure was used, how large an area was worked on, and for how long? Ideally you should work an area no larger than about 1' x 1' - not large at all - and work the product until it's just a very thin, clear film on the surface. And working it may require quite a bit of passion, depending on the paint's resistance to correction.

Consider that you may need a more aggressive approach to get your paint were you want it to be....I will recommend the Meguiar's Brilliant Solutions Paint Restoration Kit.....
You will be amazed with the improvement you will achieve on your paint...
i applied it one section at a time but i didnt want it to dry on i applied and wipe off immediatly
How long did you work it in, and with how much effort? It's not a wipe on, wipe off product - it needs that effort behind the application. Wipe off before it dries, yes, but you should be able to work it in for a couple of minutes easily.
