    3. Is it mainly to save costs?

I was thinking, since Next Tech 2.0 is so easy to apply and wipe off that using a spray wax is not really much of a time saver. So I could say apply Next Tech 2.0 every 3-4 weeks and not use an inbetween wax. Anything wrong with this?

Though if Next Tech 2.0 is used up much faster per application than UQW then maybe using UQW has a benefit in saving costs. The prices of the two are similar. Not sure how many applications you can get out of UQW vs Next Tech 2.0.
Spray wax is for touching up and keeping the shine after your car was been waxed with the proper wax.
Yes it's a time saver because it doesn't take long to apply. It has the same sort of principle as Quick Detailer.

The ultimate wax, not is like the UQW ok, but I think it is the wax more close to UQW have the same hidropobic technology and are synthetic. BTW a gallon of UQW is a great addition too. I must to have one of that!!!

Saiyan, if you need to buy in bulk, may I suggest that you substitute M21 Synthetic Sealant for NXT. The 64 oz. jug of M21 will be a much better value for you, and its look and durability is comparable to NXT.

If you are willing to re-wax every 4-8 weeks, I do not see any reason for you to purchase the Ultimate Quik Wax. You might get one bottle just to try it out, but as others have said, a regular sealant like NXT/M21 will give you better durability. UQW is an excellent product, but given the economics M21 will be a better protectant for you.

Re: Normal wax vs spray wax

I recently bought a few bottles of UQW and found it to be a very nice drying-aid and gloss enhancer. Especially after winter washes in a garage that is heated to not-quite-optimum temperatures.

I have a coat or two of Collinite 476, which I love the slickness of, but after a wash UQW adds even more slickness with a touch of protection, which is nice to see as well. I do love how I can use it on all surfaces too, it makes drying the vehicle go faster without having to be so meticulous around the trim, etc.

As others have said, UQW, although one of the most durable spray waxes, isn't meant to replace a dedicated LSP. It is best used as a booster between regular LSP applications. I enjoy waxing my car and also do so every 4 weeks or so, but I still use UQW after every wash as it is easy to use and I like the shine and gloss it creates.

I don't quite agree with your comment that UQW is not a time saver. UQW is almost a WOWO product and it's application over a whole car should always been quite a bit quicker than an application of NXT.

You'll definitely get more applications out of a bottle of NXT. As Mike shared at one of the classes, at one of the shows where they were prepping cars, they did 39 cars on a single bottle. Although we won't see this in real world conditions where we're not doing a number of cars back to back, you'll still get a substantial number of applications out of a single bottle.

So I want to order in bulk from Autogeek, hence the research. If I was in USA I would try/buy everything as it is so much cheaper there.
I agree with you that pricing in South Africa is more expensive than in the USA. However, when doing research on your bulk order, just keep in mind that shipping (particularly heavy/large items such a gallon containers of product) is expensive and needs to be factored into the equation. Although the nett result is still cheaper, the impact of shipping and custom duties does reduce the big gap in pricing when doing a direct comparison between SA and USA.

Also keep in mind that you should be able to get +-30 uses out of the NXT, so if you only doing your own car, a single bottle should last you almost 3 years (based on once a month application). Even at R400 (+-$60), that works out to just over R10 (+-$1.50) per month.

A valid point, and exactly what I have done. Just remember that at one application a month this is going to last a looooong time.

Re: Normal wax vs spray wax

I use Meg's UQW as my primary wax after washes and it looks as good, if not better, than liquid or paste wax. I dont bother to touch up my car in between washes since the wax does a great job for weeks and there's something I enjoy about getting up at 6:30 once a month to wash my car.
