For cleaner/polishes, compounds and cleaner/waxes I go Meguiars.

For sealants, waterless/rinseless washing and APC I go with CroftgateUSA. Sorry Megs but IMHO they beat you here.

I mean we know what the result is going to be, considering you are posting this on the Meguiar's forum and you put a smiley face next to the Meguiar's option...

When you make a survey, try to keep it unbiased by leaving out the smiley faces. This question would probably be better suited for a general car care forum. Meguiar's is my favorite brand, but just saying all of the above for future reference of posting a well qualified poll...

It's just a fun poll. I'm pretty sure OP knows it's biased considering he placed a smiley face in the poll and in the post.

Plus, it allows us to see if anyone prefers anything besides Megs for different purposes and such.

i use to use armorall only cuz it was cheap n i was not serious about detailing my car

the only products i have that are not meguiars is mothers back to black for trim
and a 3D product called final touch(its like a quik detail) its really amazing but i been wanting to try uqd from meguiars

Meguiars is the number one favourite.
Then mothers as my second favourite.
Then the 3rd would be 3m
And the fourth would be Armour all.


And the only reason why I would use the other brands is because of the cost. Meguiars costs alot in New Zealand costs about 30 dollars for gold class car wash 40 Dollars for Ultimate compound.

I don't have one particular brand which I favour, instead choose the best products from each.

Megs is like any other, do some good products, some just ok (for the money) and some quite poor.

American wise, I prefer Chemical Guys over Megs and like Cobra microfibres, best on the market.

British wise I like Autosmart, couple of products from Bilt Hamber, Anchem make the best shampoos out there, Menz for the polishes.

Then of course there's Zymol......

Well I only use Mother, Meguires, Turtle wax. Im veryy, veryyyy fan of mothers because Step 1, 2 and 3. Also reflections is veryyy easy to use. But now using the Mirror Glaze line and the ultimate line of Meguires I cant decide. I just like mothers and meguires equally. For polish Meguires, for easy and waxes Mothers.

But overall.... Ultimate quik Wax RULES.....

Wolfgang, DP, Optimum, Menzerna, Poorboy's World, Ultima, and Pinnacle are my favorites. I do have a number of Meguiar's products that I like to keep in my arsenal though.

I consistently use meg's ultimate compound and M205. Occasionally use their quick wax. Other than that, all my other detailing products are from other companies including ultima, optimum, poor boys, chemical guys, dodo juice, 303, Collinite, P21S, RaggTopp, Stoner and others I am sure I forgot to list.

To limit yourself to just one or two brands is to limit your ability to use some really great products.

For paint corrections there is nothing like Meg's Mirror Glaze & a rotary!!!!
-that being said, not all corrections call for a rotary or as abrasive compounds & polishes, for the less aggressive corrections I have found no system better & less aggressive then Adams Polishes system & is what I tend to use when doing basic/complete details.
- I do like the concentrates in Meg's detailers line & am transitioning over to them. From the samples I got they are very effective.

I have a luv hate relationship with wax I am constantly product testing waxes,
hi tech yellow wax from megs is great for quick commercial turn arounds, which is what its designed for & i use it for event days where i wash & wax tons of Daily drivers.

so i guess if i had to list my absolute favs in wax it would be;

Adams Butterry Wax & Megs Hi Tech Yellow tied for first in the liquid wax

PASTE WAX
all Dodo juice waxes
Adams Americana
Mothers California gold


srry for all the other brands but it was asked to explain other lol
