Hi, I searched to see if I could find an answer without starting a new thread, but no luck.
I have a set of wheels that are coated in a black chrome epoxy. I really do not know the details on how they were finished, just that it is a coating. Over the course of the 4 months that I have had them, they have developed tiny scratches that drive me crazy. They are also insanely hard to keep clean. There is no way that I would think about using something with any type of abrasive in it, mostly because I don't know the exact details of the coating, and I definitely don't want to damage them in any way.
So, my proposed solution would be to give them a coat of CG EZ creme glaze, which will hopefully cover most of the tiny scratches and them seal them with CG M seal or CG wheel guard. Does anyone have an idea if his will be safe for the wheels? I am just trying to figure out if I am on the right path or if I should just stick with something wheel specific. I have read some threads around the web about glaze being hard to remove from wheels, but there is a lot of exaggerated/misinformation out there. Thanks for the help everyone!
