Re: i NEED car show shine...,

I agree with the others, scrap the idea of a perfect swirl free car at college. I would suggest finding a local coin-op and bringing your two buckets and a good mit there and wash every now and then. Also, if you are driving there, I would imagine you will probably go home for Christmas so you need to get through about 4-5 months without a "detail."

I say keep some clay on hand just in case and your favorite wax with durability (mine is NXT 2.0) and try to do one or two just wax only details on a nice shady cool day.

Plus another thing you have to remember is that your car will look way cleaner than everyone else's to start with so it will probably always look pretty good anyways. Hope this helps. Any idea what you are going to be studying?

        Do a full detail

        1. Wash
        2. Clay
        3. Swirl Remover - Meguiar's M105 & orange pad
        4. Finishing polish - Meguiar's M205 & white pad
        5. Finishing polish - Menzerna PO85RD & gray pad
        6. IPA wipe down
        7. Sealant - Meguiar's #20 Polymer Sealant
        8. Wax - Collinite 845

Wash and maintain using Meguiar's Ultimate Detailer and Optimum Spray Wax

Please explain why alcohol before sealant rather then after clay or after swirl remover?

        Thanks.
