I tried Auto Zone but they only have crappy foam ones that get all over the place or fall apart.

I use the applicators that Mary suggested, from ads. They work great. I also use the nitrile gloves on occasion. Living in Florida, I really do not like the gloves.lol. But the applicator keeps the hands clean. Try them.

I'll have to check out my local Target then, those sound good.

I one time bought an autozone applicator that had a plastic handle and foam on the other end. It fell apart the second time I used it.

          Very disappointing.

I found these Tire Applicators at Target while I was there yesterday. I haven't tested them, but they're very similar to the Applicator that comes with the Hot Shine Tire Gel so I figured it'd be worth putting up here for you all to see. $3.14 for a 2/pack is a reasonable price.

You need to ask yourself why the pads you are using get your fingers dirty. Are you comfortable with putting grimy crud on your wheels? If you clean your tires properly, prior to applying any tire dressing, you will not have any grime to keep off of your fingers. The tire dressing is clear right?

I think the grime is more of a greasy feel from the excess dressing, I do it myself as well.

I use the Vroom/Target applicators and they are ok and about the value you pay for them. They last many applications for me, but do eventually fall apart like others have mentioned with other applicators. I probably buy one pack of two and I'm good for the year.

Wondering what people who have used the Megs applicator think of it. I too have too much Hot Shine on hand to justify another purchase of the stuff just for the applicator.
