Then can use the cleaner/wax for a quick detail in the future, SwirlX for the 'more complete' detail.
i guess ive pretty much figured out what to use, but are they in the correct order? wash, clay, clean/wax, polish, wax, wax

Re: fairly new to detailing. tips?
Deep Crystal Polish is the pure polish, meaning only oils.
SwirlX is the cleaner/polish, meaning cleaning ability and some oils.
Wash
Clay
Clean - SwirlX
Polish- (Optional) - Deep Crystal Polish
Wax - Nxt
Wax - Nxt2017 Subaru WRX Premium - WR Blue

Well, that is more up to you, as far as when you want to go though the 'full detail' kind of thing again.
You could just wash and UQW a little longer until you feel like detailing.
It sounds like your surface is fairly clean since you have been claying and cleaner/waxing often, so could also wash and put some NXt on, or polish and Nxt.
Up to you.2017 Subaru WRX Premium - WR Blue

Re: fairly new to detailing. tips?
-wash with meg gold class wash....2 bucket/dry obviously
-clay with meg clay kit
-clean with meg swirlx
-polish with meg deep crystal polish
-wax with meg nxt 2.0? (2 layers)
ok, now, what would u suggest as far as applying these products? im guessing im going to apply meg swirlx by hand with a foam pad, working the paint really well, should i do entire car then wipe when dry? or should i remove b4 it dries?
should i apply the meg dcp by hand or my low speed orbital buffer? foam bonnet/pad? microfiber bonnet/pad? this i should remove b4 drying, correct?
i think i will just apply the nxt2.0 with my buffer with a foam bonnet, twice. or should i apply first layer by hand with foam pad then 2nd layer with foam bonnet on the buffer? thanx guys

Re: fairly new to detailing. tips?
Although, if I may, SwirlX won't cut it, I think. UC will though. I had a 99 Accord, Taffetta White, and it didn't respond well to SwirlX but UC cut right through it and it was amazing the difference it made.-Kyle
