-clean with meg swirlx (no need for ultimate compound or anything else? Well, you said good shape. UC is stronger, if needed.)(swirlx work better for cleaning than meg cleaner wax?Yes, a stronger cleaner)
-polish with meg deep crystal polish
-seal with meg ____ sealant (?) The nxt can be used for both steps
-wax with meg nxt 2.0? (2 layers)

then use meg ultimate protectant for the black plactic trim? (would u suggest this over meg trim detailer? Yeah, probably. Apply, let sit for a few minutes, then come back and wipe off excess)

then use meg quick detailer after washes/between waxes I would prefer Ultimate Quick Wax.?

Yeah, pretty much. Throwing in the pure polish is up to you.

Then can use the cleaner/wax for a quick detail in the future, SwirlX for the 'more complete' detail.

use pure polish instead of the deep crystal polish? or use it before?after?

Re: fairly new to detailing. tips?

Deep Crystal Polish is the pure polish, meaning only oils.

SwirlX is the cleaner/polish, meaning cleaning ability and some oils.

            Wash
            Clay
            Clean - SwirlX
Polish- (Optional) - Deep Crystal Polish
            Wax - Nxt
            Wax - Nxt

Re: fairly new to detailing. tips?

Well, that is more up to you, as far as when you want to go though the 'full detail' kind of thing again.

You could just wash and UQW a little longer until you feel like detailing.

It sounds like your surface is fairly clean since you have been claying and cleaner/waxing often, so could also wash and put some NXt on, or polish and Nxt.

                  Up to you.

                      UQW = Ultimate Quick Wax.

It is a very good spray wax that can be used after washing.

-wash with meg gold class wash....2 bucket/dry obviously
                        -clay with meg clay kit
                        -clean with meg swirlx
-polish with meg deep crystal polish
-wax with meg nxt 2.0? (2 layers)

ok, now, what would u suggest as far as applying these products? im guessing im going to apply meg swirlx by hand with a foam pad, working the paint really well, should i do entire car then wipe when dry? or should i remove b4 it dries?

should i apply the meg dcp by hand or my low speed orbital buffer? foam bonnet/pad? microfiber bonnet/pad? this i should remove b4 drying, correct?

i think i will just apply the nxt2.0 with my buffer with a foam bonnet, twice. or should i apply first layer by hand with foam pad then 2nd layer with foam bonnet on the buffer? thanx guys

                          Yes

Terry cloth>microfiber>foam applicator for amount of correction you want to do. I would go with microfiber. Terry cloth can like micro marring, and the foam applicator might not provide enough bite. And remove before it dries. It's not a wax where it's wipe on wipe off. Work in, wipe off.

I would do the DCP by hand, to really work the polishing oils into the paint. And yes, remove before drying. Work in, wipe off

Either way is fine. Some areas you'll need to do by hand, since the buffer won't reach some tight areas.

Although, if I may, SwirlX won't cut it, I think. UC will though. I had a 99 Accord, Taffetta White, and it didn't respond well to SwirlX but UC cut right through it and it was amazing the difference it made.

really? the meg cleaner wax (paste wax in the maroon tin) seems to do a decent job with some passion behind it, ive just been told to use swirlx as its stronger than the cleaner wax but not "too strong" like ultimate compound may be....

i may have to check out the ult compound one day, i just dont want to kill the clear coat with something with too much bite
