Hello Everyone. I am looking for some insight on how I should handle my detail for this weekend.ffice

I have a new 2010 Nissan Maxima. It is a dark Grey color. It has some swirls and minor scratches thanks to the horrible winter we had here in ffice:smarttags" />Jersey . I recently looked into Auto Detailing and figured I would give it a try myself. So I am definitely a Noob here. I was wondering if I can just use Swirl X for the swirls and the scratches. I applied Scratch X by hand, but didn’t really see any results. My process is below….but I could really use some insight to see if I am doing this correctly. I think my big concern is will the Swirl X cause any damage to the paint? I have read about working it in, but I don’t want to work it in too much. Do I stop working it in when it starts to dry? I am going to use a DA polisher with the yellow buffing pad for the Swirl X and a finishing pad for the DC Polish. Any recommendations….cautions? Any help you guys could provide would be much appreciated.
